When carers need support, it has to be local

In this year’s Carers’ Survey, carers told us they wanted support to be close to home where they live and they care for someone. The charity faced a decision, where to move to and how to answer carers’ preference to receive their support more locally.

We decided to bring services closer to you in accessible venues across North Tyneside.

If you are a carer and need to see someone for help or attend a group, you will find our support is closer to you and simpler to get to. The admin part of our work that needs an office will be based on the second floor of Wallsend Customer First Centre. All our work for you will continue as normal but hopefully be easier to access.

We are going to be in touch soon with the news about the new community venues and locations.
