Hi! I’m Lucy, the new Carers Into Work Advisor at North Tyneside Carers’ Centre.

I’m so excited to be working on the Carers Into Work project, which supports carers like you to make your first steps towards your goals.

Whether you are interested in pursuing work, higher education, or an apprenticeship, I am here to help.

We understand at the Carers’ Centre how challenging it can be juggling caring alongside your future aspirations. It can be hard to focus on your own goals when you usually have to prioritise someone else’s needs over your own.

We can discuss these barriers and, together, learn to navigate them so you can pursue your ambitions in a manageable way.

With exam season ending and summer looming, there’s no better time to start thinking about your future.
