Our popular learning workshop “Understanding Psychosis” will be running on Wednesday 19th August from 5-6.30pm online.
Psychosis is when people lose some contact with reality. This might involve seeing or hearing things that other people cannot see or hear (hallucinations) and believing things that are not actually true (delusions). In this session, Centre staff will be on hand to answer questions, explore psychosis further and give you an invaluable opportunity to connect with other carers in a similar situation.
For further information, or to book, carers can ring the centre on 0191 6432298 or email sophie.dawson@ntcarers.co.uk or ros.hull@ntcarers.co.uk.
North Tyneside Carers’ Centre use Microsoft Teams and Adobe Connect to host our virtual workshops, training events and peer support groups. Click the following link for instructions to get online: https://www.northtynesidecarers.org.uk/getting-online/
