North Tyneside Carers’ Centre is looking to recruit two-part time Young Carers’ Activities Worker to deliver our programme of regular breaks and activities to young carers including; age specific activities; targeted group work; springboard group work. During the current pandemic it is essential that young carers have opportunities to connect with other young carers using digital platforms.

The post holder will: have a proven track record in working with children and young people; be able to apply a good model of participation to their work; possess excellent group facilitation skills; demonstrate good communication and organisational skills; have the ability to work as part of a team; numeracy, IT literacy and good reporting skills; the ability to work flexible hours as most sessions take place after school hours.

2 x 18 ½ Hours Per week.  £19,063 per annum (pro rata)
