Ages 12 – 15
Our Young Carers’ Project can help you in many ways;
Someone to talk to about how you feel; it’s good to talk about what’s going on at home and how you feel
How to cope; ways of helping you to understand and deal with how you feel
Advice; their may be things you think and feel that you’re unsure of, we’ll listen and offer you some advice
Talk to school about your caring role; it’s really important that someone at school knows about your caring role, but if you don’t feel ready to tell them, then that’s ok
Breaks and activities; enjoy some time away from home and meet other young people who are carers
Putting your family in touch with organisations that can help; their may be people who can help the person you care for to do the things they want to do
Let you know what else is happening for young people in your area; we have lots of information about other activities and events that are running
