Sharing the Caring

Sharing the Caring is a service that gives you the opportunity to have a break from your caring role

Taking breaks and having some time out is vital to your well being but can also be beneficial to the person you are caring for. Sharing the Caring can give you the chance to take time out, in the knowledge that the person you are caring for is receiving support, care and stimulation from fully trained, dedicated and friendly staff.

Sharing the Caring support workers provide quality stimulative support to the person you care for in their chosen activities either in their own home or out in the community. Sharing the Caring supports carers who live in North Tyneside, and can offer breaks from 1 hour to 24 hours in length, it is available 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Breaks are flexible and individually tailored and meet your needs and the needs of the person you are caring for.
